Well 2009 came with a bang. Here is the first quilt I finished for 2009. Although I started this last year everything just kept taking upper hand. Hazel comes this week so I decided it needed to be completed. She loved it instantly. She is such a joy to give a quilt to - you never wonder if they are appreciated. I think the overall design and color scheme came out very nicely.
I hear she even has it on her bed here. Couldn't pack it up till it was actually time to take it home. I hope it makes her quest room look lovely.
I would tell you if I didn't like it. Can I help it if every quilt you make is be-yoo-ti-ful!?

You're going to have to change that picture. I'm working on the pillows that go on the bed, plus I'm making a patchwork "pillowcase" to match somewhat the fabric used in the quilt. Also, I bought a pale green sheet to put under the quilt. It drapes down and covers up the mattress which shows in this picture. And it looks great with my quilt!

Well Ms. Hazel, where's my new photo. The quilt o nthe bed looks nicer than mine so it stays till I get something new.
