You're probably wondering if I left town. Well no I haven't. I have been busy planning a fundraiser at our church and cleaning out cupboards and such at home. But don't worry, I've been quilting as well. I finished a quilt which will cover my table for Christmas and have 2 magic tiles on the sewing desk being quilted. I think I even finished one or two table runners. I'll post the pictures when I get home tonight.

Check back for the pictures.
I would wish that at the end of my life when I stand before God I can say I used up all the talent you gave me.

RAFFLE
TABLE QUESTION
I have 3 quilts to the quilting stage so I will have new pictures soon but I have a question for anyone that happens across my blog.
Can you use rectangle tablecloths on a round table. I need to cover a 60" round cloth and cannot find the colors I want. Don't want to spend a fortune as it's a one time deal. I wondered if I could drape red over the table and then drape gold one over the other direction and would it hang nicely?
Any ideas?

FINALLY FINSHED
I planned Jessica's baby quilt before she left on maternity leave. Then I planned on finishing while she was out on maternity leave and now that the precious baby is 8 or 10 weeks old and I finally finished. At least I got it done before she hit high school. She'll need one for graduation so I better get started now.
Jessica wanted alphabets and this came out pretty cute. Boy is it puffy. I used the 6 oz batting and while it was a pain to quilt it will make a nice mat to use when she's visiting friends so the baby isn't on the floor.
Here's a picture of Anna's quilt.
Raffle #2
I finished the second quilt for the Ladies Dessert raffle. As I mentioned this is one of two donated to my church for a fundraiser in December. We'll be raffling it off the night of our Ladies Dessert. I'm buying 10 tickets myself. This came out beautiful. It was hard to give it away but it's a good cause.
