FRIDAY NIGHT SEW-IN 9/17/2010

Once again I'm going to participate in the Friday Night Sew-In. Okay maybe it's just an excuse to put on some sloppy clothes and do nothing but sew all night. Either way it works for me. Luckily last night I scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned my whole kitchen (cupboard doors, counters, sink, fridge, etc) and mopped all my tile floors. Tonight I'll clean the spare room and dust my bedroom so Friday night I can just sew. Saturday my monthly workshop ladies come over and we're making Fons & Porter Prism quilt. NON-QUILT RELATED

Well this has nothing what-so-ever to do with my quilting but I have a new grand nephew. My niece's baby Trenton was born last Friday. Here a picture of him at week one. I just finished the top of his Winnie the Pooh quilt. I'll quilt it this weekend and post a picture here.

AUSSIE ROUND ROBIN

I am also doing a round robin with the Austrilia group again. The red and white center of this one was done by one of the members and I added round one which is the yellow and white fabric. I think it came out really pretty. These are 2 I finished this weekend.

WOW IT'S BEEN A MONTH

I can't believe my last post is a month ago. Well between the house, work and dental things I haven't had a lot of time. I think I have finished 4 quilt tops and swaps and such but just haven't quilted them.

Here's a picture of the round robin I'm doing with the local group. There are 5 of us. I received Joy's center which she said was too pretty to cut up so she left it a square of plain fabric. I added a bright green dot fabric on point. It is going to look amazing finished. Here's her center and my round one.
